Anyone have any photos on how these are set up?
I really don't think it should be as hard as it seems!

Cheers

I can get it to the stage shown but no idea how I connect the bar to the weber throttle arm or the accelerator cable!

any tips on where to go from here?
i.e. attaching the vital part that is the throttle lever and a good place for the spring?

I tossed mine and used a Weber wheel.
(Made by Redline IIRC)

Lindsay Seibler (Pistons Auto) has aluminium ones made up which work an absolute treat and look great too.

That looks amazingly simple compared to this. Surely this can be hooked up though? It comes in a kit ready to go!

The L-shaped cable bracket is meant to be held onto the inlet manifold with those two black screws. Your manifold doesn't appear to be made to suit. Pics shortly....

off to shed in the freezing cold....

Ah k I just grabbed some bolts from my collection..
The kit came with the manifold...that would be outrageous if it didn't fit. I presumed the bracket would actually be held in place by the manifold studs?
Cheers mate

Ok, I'm back,

Here are a few pics:

See how the bracket is screwed into the top of the inlet manifold flange.

Really appreciate that Mokesta, helps me alot to understand what I'm aiming for.
I bought the throttle lever from weber performance as its description said of was designed to work with the threaded rod and knuckle joints but I see no way of attaching these together :S

Ok, mine is a different brand of kit.

Really I think that these are a bit of a flog. You'd need something like this for twins but really, for a single a decent cam arm and rigid cable bracket are all that are really needed.

Mine is as purchased so I don't know the kit brand.

Alright everything's sorted besides the spring location which should be pretty easy.
Cheers for the help.

Can anyone advise me for or against grinding a small slice into the cross bar of the linkage to make a snug fit for the return spring?

And can anyone suggest a way to make this a more suitable fit of the cable holder? The split pin hole is far too far out.......
