My originall SU fuel pump (1970) on my Mini Van is failing and rather than putting in some new points I was thinking of converting to a solid state option sold by Mini Spares http://www.minispares.com/product/classic/AUF214MS.aspx Alternatively, I was considering another Pierburg rollervane pump which I have on my SD1. These are rated at 3.9 -5.5 psi, deliver 130 litres per hour (34.34GPH), self priming, lift capable, no return, very quiet, weighs 0.5kilo. Is this too much pressure for HIF44 feeding a 1360? www.injectacarb.com.au |

I use the Facet electronic one, it feeds my 1360 with 45 Dellorto just fine.. It worked fine with my HS6 SU on the 1412 as well. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI ... 691_262721 |

They look very compact. Some folk reckon Facet pumps are very noisy, producing a constant clatter from the rear subframe, but I've not tried them so don't know. Maybe they're referring to the larger Facet competiton cylindrical type pumps. |

I mount them using a front (square) exhaust mount. The 2 holes line up. Drill 1 hole 5/16 dia in the subby, fit a 5/16 UNF nyloc nut, and you are done. |
