I was told by someone that Valvemaster fluid accually damages the valves after time. Is this true? Could somebody sudgest an alternative? |

Valvemaster and flashlube have been discussed here....do a search...I think the concensus is that Flashlube is good....valvemaster is something else ![]() |

Flashlube is the way to go. As 9y said, do a search, there is alot of info on lead replacement additives. |

Flashlube works out cheaper. 1mL = 1L of fuel, so 1L does 1,000L and costs around $16. That's peanuts. Extra 1.6c/L. And it works. It won't crap your plugs etc up like Valvemaster does either. Available from Repco, AutoPro, AutoOne etc. ![]() ps. the cap on the 1L bottle is 7.5mL, so I use a capful for every 7 or 8L of fuel. |

While we're on the subject, after converting for unleaded is it still a good idea to use flashlube every now and then or is there no need at all? |

its an upper cylinder lubricant etc....it should benefit just about any four cycle engine.... |
