| Post subject: | battery cable channel |
hi everyone, i am changing the battery cable that runs underneath the car and i can see it follows a channel that another piece of metal is bolted to the top of. however, my cable looks a little exposed. can someone show me a picture of underneath a mini to see how it should look. i want to get this right. thanks, sam. |

I don't have a pic but my brake line and battery cable run along the channel which is all covered by a plate that runs the length of the bottom of the car. Should only be able to see the cable where it goes in and out of the channel the rest is covered. |

That only applies to all Oz Minis (including vans) from mid? `67 on. Before that there were no hydro channels and covers; the brake and fuel lines were held by clips welded to the floor. |
