Post subject:  Cooper rims 6 or 8 holes?

Greetings All.
Saw some "Original" Morris Cooper rims on e bay. Looks like they have 6 round holes. Others I've seen have 8 round holes?

What should they have??

Cheers
Alex.

Real steel S ones have 9 holes.
I have a set.

A `Cooper' just had 4 slot steelies, same as 850 did.

Fixed for ya.

[edit] /joke, really the holes won't make it weaker, where they are.
Weakest part of Mini wheels is around the stud holes- because gorillas with rattle guns overtighten the nuts and thin the metal.

...actually the arrangment/alignment of the holes is not even consistent from one rim to the other.

.....anyway they are Copper S rims not Cooper S rims. He says so.. :D

I bought a set of Cooper S wheels from BMC Zetland `at the right price' back in the 60s, one wheel had 1 hole out of position. Not equispaced... but hey the price was right. (my mate was an apprentice there)
