Were minis painted body colour underneath? My LS was a dark black grey colour yet the body was nugget gold. Many of the restos at the moment have the full underneath body colour?

Most colours stopped at the sills, floors were undersealed.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Mine had the body deadener straight over the poo brown rotodip primer, no body colour there at all either on top of or underneath the body deadener. Assume that this is as per all factory paint jobs

cheers

can only speak for the round nose cars. Give them a scrub. They were all painted body colour underneath. Paint is over the sound deadener. They were not black below the sills. This was a trick used by many second hand car salespersons and still is. Paint the wheel arches and lower sills in black paint to make it look all nice and new.
