After installing the disc conversion i now need to increase the rear track to match.I have a full set of drums to suit is it easier to replace the whole lot or are there certain bits i just need to swap over?
Any advice much appreciated :D

You only need to change over to the longer wheel studs, fit the drums and longer drum retaining screws.

you just need the longer studs and you can use everything else you have

Take the hub off the radius arm
Knock the studs out (put a wheel nut on the stud and tap them through, then remove the nut and take it out)
Put the long studs in the hub and locate them snugly in the holes by hand, then put the drum over the hub and use the wheel nuts (with washers under them) to pull the stud through - don't hammer the studs through from the back, as it's really easy to make them crooked

To clarify here, I can knock the short studs through the hub and refit the longer ones without taking the hub off?

Can someone fill me in on the retaining screw, which side is reverse thread?

Yes you can knock the old ones out that way, not sure if there's room to pull the others in on the car (as they are over 52mm long).
But the belting of the studs out or in with a BFH can/will brinell the bearing surfaces. Not a great idea, IMO. I have always done them on the bench.

The LH rear hub nut is LH threaded. :wink:

I recently did mine to match the cooper discs on the front.
Just pulled the hubs off and swapped the studs.
I couldnt get the new studs in with the hub on.
Put the drum on, adjusted the pads to suit the new linings in the drums and off i went.. 8)

When I did mine I had to press the old studs out with the bench vice. They were in that tight.
