I can't be sure but it looks like Bungool park and it looks like an event put on by the then UNSW car club. They had a member who pottered around in a Peugeot 403. The Mini could be Gerald Lee from the same club. The BDA number plate rings a bell - circa late 1971 - 72 ???? Mike |

I've been to Bungool for an event. That was further out, & I reckon we got there by going in from the Windsor end. This is definitely the Willows. My negative sheet caption was written at the time. This is Ian Field in his Cooper S. It was a Christian Auto Club invitation event. I believe they're still going, after 40 years. |

Okay They were part of the old group nine - car clubs back then were roughly grouped. I was in the Sydney Uni car club (which is now defunct) and we shared the grouping with UNSW car club, Mini car club and a couple of others I have forgotten. The Christian car club was also part of it. I havn't had anything to do with car clubs since the mid seventies so I have no idea what the situation is now. I moved my interests from the general car scene to the sparts sedan association and then later the Appendix J association before getting out of motor sport entirely in the ninties. Lost touch with so much since. |
