this may sounds like a retarded question for most of you, but how the hell do I get the mirror off the driver door?

ive looked from inside the door & I can see 2 screws coming through the bodywork that are holding it on, but how do I get to those screws from the outside???

The only bolt on the outside is for adjusting where the mirror sits...

I cant figure it out!

Tricky to tell from your photos what the mirror is, but I's say completely remove anything and everything you can in any order. If the adjustment screw comes out, do that, it might allow the glass to come out and reveal the hidden screw heads.
Sometimes the mirror is mounted on a clip too, and may slide off or something.
