Post subject: | remote oil sender? |
hi guys very simple one I have this Mini T piece oil fitting (use your oil light and mechanical gauge) http://www.minisport.com.au/prod838.htm so i run the dash oil switch & a mechanical gauge. so it is 'T'd' I want to free up more room as it pokes out alot & fouls my front mount fan/rad combo im playing with. what is the thread? going into the block? not sure what adapter to buy, should i use a brass thing? or shiny alloy thing? do you think maybe just getting a right angled adapter & screwing into that would work ok? then screwing the fitting into that fitting. should free up a heap? |

hi i wanted to put a pressure sender on and looked at T pieces, extenders etc but the oil line to the filter got in the way. Oil temp sender by itself, fits under the assembly. , when add extensions etc was going to stick out to far... so i went to hydraulic hose shop and got a remote fitting via braided hose. It is currently sitting on the inside of the grille near the coil. (will probably move it later) I thought the original thread was 1/8 BSP and the new Aftermarket fittings are 1/4 BSP not npt. Cheers FNQ |
