Post subject:  head bolt torque settings

i just typed a big long winded reason as to why i dont know but the comp stuffed up.. but heres the short version i need the torque wrench settings for a 1100 head. (the type with 2 studs and 7 bolts.. i only have them for older heads)

Most cars here got studs, some (mainly Oz built 1098s) got bolts.
Studs & nuts should be 40lb/ft, bolts 50lb/ft. Difference is due to the thread pitch-bolts are coarser than the nuts.
It would probably have had 9 bolts originally- someone has busted a couple.
Studs are more reliable if you are looking at replacing them, IMO. :wink:
