Morning, tried to turn twiggy over and all I get is a click. Lights have power so I ran a wire from solenoid post to starter moter and she turns. So this means it has to be the solenoid yah? It's a rubber push type solenoid, not seen one before but it looks new. |

Try giving the solenoid a tap with something, they can jam. But yeah, sounds like the solenoid. |

I got a $25 solenoid at supercheap it let me down in about 12 months with limited driving maybe 5 times started. I went to auto electrician and got a beefed up one for $50 starts a lot easier now. Dan |

Yep, well done on sorting it out, but the guys are right. The supercheap solenoids are almost only good for get you home solutions. It will fail very quickly. I've killed a number of them over the years. Luckily, the genuine items are still available fairly cheaply online on eBay. Get one and keep the super cheap one as a spare for next time. |
