Is there a contact that wears inside the stalk? it's a rover stalk.maybe i m up for a new one? |

Could be your flasher can (relay). They usually use a different one for indicators and hazards as the current draw is different. In saying that the 2 relays could be in the one housing. Cheers, Dicko. |

As Dicko says, in a Rover there are two flasher cans, one for the hazards and a separate one for the indicators. Before you ditch the indicator control arm, also check out the hazard switch - the indicator wiring goes from the control arm on the column to the hazard switch then off to the lights. The hazard switch is a double poll double throw that in the "on" position connects the hazard circuit to the lights but in the "off" position connects each indicator circuit to the lights. |
