Well its finally happened folks, my mini is rego'd and back on the road, its been a long slog with numerous failed roadworthys, engine swaps, re-sprays and new interiors but finally, today the 6th of june, GTMINI is legal!!, keep an eye out for me folks. As i left Vicroads, there was a roundie behind me, could have been green or blue with no front number plate, he was the first car(and it was a mini) to see me on the road registered. Today is a great day!!

How picky are they? Do they pick you up on really stupid things?

I'm looking to get a clubbie rego'd sometime after my tax return comes in (if not earlier). Just wondering how much a RW will set me back if I fail.

I suppose it all depends on who you go to to get your pink slip. I havn't been pulled up for anything over the last two years. I would rather go to someone picky, but on the other hand it would probably piss me off because I couldn't get it to the right standard myself.
My last pinkslip was $27, which I think is around the standard fee for most mechanics.
