I know that this has probably been done to death BUT:

I have a stock standard 67 Deluxe and i would like to fit Minilites without any modifications (flares etc). Is this possible? I have tried some 10 x 5 performance wheels and they do not fit on the back. Will 10 x 4.5 work?

Do i need longer studs?

What have others done and found? If there is another post with all of this in it just point me in the right direction...

If you have flat drums you should be pretty right for choice I'd have thought.
Are you running discs? That makes it a bit harder.

Yep, flat drums. Hydro suspension. The 10 x 5's went on the back but would not rotate. Tyre was rubbing (stuck) on the inside of the wheel well.

I found that 10x5 on flat drums needed about a 5mm spacer to miss the shocks (on dry suspension). I used the turned down centres of an old pair of drums as spacers.

Minilite do 4.5s in S or non S offset. You can use the S offset if you fit "S" (including Clubman S) spaced drums... Otherwise ask for the "non FIA" style..

I have 10x5" LS countesses, disc brakes, S spaced (1") rear drums and I also needed 1/4" spacers on the rear and I do not run flairs.

Its funny how things vary - I have the same setup as mentioned above. I don't need a spacer at the back but I do need a 4mm spacer to clear the front calipers.

I carefully ground down the metal near the bleed nipple and I also ground the unevenness inside the mags (if you have access to a lathe you can machine the inside of the mags to make them true and round). If you do decide to grind the mag or the calipers do it very carefully and slowly, bit by bit with lots of trial fits and work on the wheels first (all four of them on both calipers) then grind the metal near the bleed nipple.
Also what tyres are you using? Back when I ran Bridgstons they did not rub, they had a squarer side wall. When I changed to Falcons and Yokahama A008's they both require the rear spacers.
