I've got a rod change box and the gear stick is really loose with heaps of play. I can still select gears mostly, but they're heaps far away. From forum searches (yes i did use the search tool) people seem to think that it's quite possibly the roll pin.

Is that #11 / #15 in this diagram? I'm still trying to get my head around all this.

Any guides around on checking / replacing these & can this be done without removing gearbox/engine? Still waiting on painting so got a bit of free time to do this which has been nagging at me for a while.

Also got some videos of the play as well I can post if I need to but not that exciting.

Thanks always guys

It can be Items 10 And or item 11 it is also possible to be items 13 and 15 also items 18 and 19, On the gear lever item 19 check the groove down the side it should have straight sides not excessive wear in the area that item 18 sits, also check item 18 for wear this should be round, no flats,
