Geez... WHY do people store cars under bloody trees... they rust out before their time. ![]() That's why cars from Nevada have no rust- there's no trees! (oh and having fa rain either helps). |

The silver one looks half decent. They look like complete cars so a whole lot of parts ![]() |

The stripes on that second one look interesting. A different take on the GT. If only one was a GT that had basketweave that i could buy ![]() |

funny how they've all had their drivers door handles scavenged or broken at some point in time. was this an optional accessory on Leyland minis? |

I think the silver was complete and possibly running, the brown was purely for parts. And orange was a bit rusty but mostly complete, trying to get some more details out ![]() |

I actually went to have a look at those cars. The brown and orange cars were a 1973 Mini S and 1974 Mini S, so 1100 not 1275. Both had good interior but unknown mechanically. The 1275 LS wasn't too bad but both front floors were shot although the pass side still managed to hold water. When I went to look only the LS was outside, the others were in a dark and muddy (dirt floor) garage. They wanted to know the value which was really hard without knowing the mechanical condition of any of them. The drivers door almost fell off on the brown one, which didn't inspire much confidence. |

Maybe I should ring him up and ask him for numbers why he pulled it and if he let it run it's course he would've got $6-7000 for them |
