I think you will find the wheel style is superlite. Performance have made the superlite for as long as I can remember.

Performance superlites are different to the brand 'superlite', 'minilite' in the UK.

The aussie made wheels are expensive over there, so nearly nobody has them.

I got mighterly peeved at Performance a few years ago. The dealers in the UK could sell you a Superlight wheel for much less than the going price in Oz.

They got a bit stroppy when I suggested they sell me a set at the UK price - noting that the UK price included shipping half way round the world...

No doubt they bitch about Internet sales ...stuff 'em.

Cheers, Ian

They are pretty expensive. I rang them to buy a wheel directly - so no piece of the pie for a wheel shop. Wanted $225 for it.
I could buy the same wheel from the UK cheaper to my door! Silly, huh?

The reason is because UK suppliers buy in bulk, but most aussie stock isn't even on a shelf somewhere, so even though its a 'standard' wheel, it has to be 'made' for you.

It sounds like superlites from the uk are the go. Priced a set from performance today and way out of my range. Where's the best place to buy from

Be aware that Superlites are Super heavy, there are better light wheels about now.

Just about anything but Superlites...
Minilites, Mambas, Minators, Revolutions, etc.
