is it possible to remove the top crash pad without removing the windscreen?
because i've undone the 3 nuts but the bloody thing wont come out , and i dont want to break it.

And how hard is it to remove the bottom one? I just want to paint it, it might be easier to do it in the car.

There's three, one in the middle through the ashtray hole, and one either end.
It won't lift straight up, you need to 'roll' it over and toward you a bit.

Is it a clubby or rover, clubby definitly 4, 1 either side of the ash tray and one each side near pillars as for rovers never had anything to do with them

The bottom one just needs to be carefully pulled off as it is only glued.
