Would anyone like to through in their two bobs worth regarding the dash fitted to my MK 2 Cooper S. I have been reliably told that it was fitted ex factory in 1970, so I have no doubt that is was fitted at delivery but was it a BMC offered accessory? I have found a small decal behind the glove box with manufactures details: T and H Dashboard Designs Car Accessories 35 May St Glenroy. No Biggie.........I'm just curious. Thanks ![]() |

That type was an aftermarket accessory. They are different to the ones sold (and fitted) by the dealers. I threw out a heap of those about 12 years ago! ![]() |

I threw out a heap of those about 12 years ago! ![]() Thanks for that, it looks remarkably similar to the Austin 1300 Mk3 dash featured in Issue 2 of BMC Experience. (page 72) |

I had one of those dashes in a Van once. Sold it at a swap meet in the late 90's. Cheers, |

I'm just wondering if BMC may have changed styles later in the 60's and sold this type too? I know it isn't in the accessories books up till 1969 but I don't know about 70 and 71. |
