local tyre places should be able to get them for u just go ask for a tyre tractor fill valve the ones that put water into the tyres they r about 50 bucks |

Apologies for the thread hijack. I'm looking to get my wet subframe blasted and need to strip it. To remove this filler/splitter from the subframe what is the nut size? Is it 13/16, 7/8 or 15/16? Any tricks to getting it out? |

The six sided hydro pipe nut is 3/4 AF The thin six sided nut on the valve is 13/16 AF you will need a deep socket, wire brush the long thread first, then spray on a bit of lube, WD40 it then should unscrew ok, Les |

I think I used a spark plug socket with the cushioning removed |
