Wrecked a tyre - need advice

Went for a drive last night and this is what I found this morning.
Demolished my Yokohama A539 165/60/12 tyre.
Spoke with a couple of places this morning and they say that they are not manufactured any more.

Is this correct?

If so what would you recommend to replace it?

Not a daily drive, just a weekend cruiser.

Went for a cruise last night for about a hour around the Gold Coast.
Didn't notice anything unusual.
Woke up this morning to this!!!
I would say they have been on the car for at least 6-7 years as I only do about 5K a year.

Still available new and CHEAPER from UK, it's just that Yokohama Australia can't be arsed to bring them in from Japan anymore.
Same story with 10" A008s.

I just had a quick look at midland wheels, $550 for 4 delivered. Seems an ok price.

And as said before you can get them from minisport.com.au

How much wear has that tyre had , and how old is it ?
You will have to replace it with the same tyre .
If your tyres have a bit of age on them , ( If, it were me ) i would be buying 2 new ones and putting on the front , and putting the 2 from the front on the rear , then use the other
1 as a spare .

I was quoted 150 fitted and balanced for A008s this morning.... and 30 per for fitting and balance if I provided the tyres.... They're available.

If it was a 13 I could have helped you out. I have a spare A539 in 175/50R13

If I recall correctly, someone recently had a couple of barely used 165/60R12 A539 for sale on here. Have a dig through the For Sale section.

Last time I bought A008s, Graham in Aus and I bought 12 between us from a shop in Newcastle. I think we paid around $90 ea then.
We are being royally ripped off on tyre prices here, when I need more 10s (next year) I'll buy from UK.

Why bring Japanese tyres in from the UK? they are cheaper and freight is faster/closer/cheaper straight out of japan.

Have you tried doing this, do you speak Japanese, or are you just assuming it is so because they are closer...
They would probably just tell you to see Yokohama Australia.. waste of time.

The Poms get much better prices than we ever did due to their market size, on Jap tyres or others. Even with UPS or DHL airfreight added they are much cheaper to us than we can get locally.
