I used mdf to make all new panels front & back, i also covered them in velour material they have been on the car for six years now & still look brand new.

Hi, I want to make some new door cards and cover them, with either Vinyl or something similar to speaker box carpet, what have people found to work best for them? |

I'll add onto that: it may be an idea to try and use mdf or ply thats has a coating of something to stop it absorbing any moisture in the door and going soggy, if you can't buy it that way there will be something in a spray can. |

Damn nice mini Steve....... i will be doing my doorcards myself aswell , using vinyl and going to check out clarke rubber/spotlight for some thin foam padding and some glue , making a template with the current doorcards and using Mdf/That old stuff used on back of wardrobes " cant remeber the name  " .
Bought a little jigsaw to hopefully cut out the handle holes etc , good fun little project me thinks. |

thanks gents, was going to use masonite, I think that has a coating on one side and quite rough the other so the glue for the vinyl sticks to it. |

It's a corugated PVC
