Who drove the Appendix J mini that had a boxing kangaroo painted on the roof at Bathurst? Probably 15 to 20 years ago? Come to think of it maybe it was 10 years ago, ish.
EDIT: Nope forget that 10 years ago crap.
I'm trying to find the unofficial channel seven footage of when it battled a valiant. It was a support race to the main event. It was the year that Brad Strattan raced a Corolla.
Anyone?

Brad Stratton and his support crew, his dad John and Tony Bayada managed to get a copy of some film footage (for a carton of VB) that chanel 7 used to practice for the main event. It included all cameras on the ground as well as the helicopter.
The race was run on the Friday, I recall? anyway the guys in Mustangs and the like, out front were killing it, game over but there was a great race within a race as it happens many times between the Val and Mini. Over the top the Mini would over take and down conrod the Val would take back the position. This went on for many laps. Apparently the director of Seven at the time said to show this rather that the front runners. Anyway on the last lap the mini driver (apparently) went for broke and revved the Mini to 10,000rpm down conrod and held out the Val. If I can get a copy of this I will show all. It is really awesome.
Regards and thanks guys.
