Post subject:  yoko 008s bulk order?
ok couple of years ago the yoko 008s were difficult to get im not sure about the current status of them however back then i use to bulk order them for mini owners they wanted them.

ive been thinking of doing it again provided there is some interest in it.. i know i can get 16 of these tyres if ordered in about 10 days time..

so the question is.. is anyone interested?

If you buy them for the U.K. you'll get them within 7 days with a free set of mags fitted :lol:

Sadly you are 1 week too late, I got my set from Minisport Adelaide.
Apparently no longer available from Yokohama Australia :?

the last time I checked the price to import A008 tyres from the UK
with freight , the cost was equal to what one of our Australian suppliers
were selling them for , You still have to have them fitted and balanced

Obviously they think there is now no worthwhile market, so they don't give a rat's.
Yoko Aus dropped the 12" A539 a few years ago for the same reason.
Both are still currently available for sale in UK made guess where, yes still the same place- (Japan).

won't be under a hundred i can tell you now.. recommend retail for them at the moment is $160ish, i can do them for around the $135 mark..

i think that is abit of bull cause according yokohama last week there is meant to be another import of these tyres coming soon... but not for a little while..

just wanted to get an idea of interest.

I'm pretty certain i only paid $135 ea fitted & balanced at one of our local tyre services ,
in August this year , if i can find the invoice , i'll double check .

What about A032R's? I would like to buy a set of these sometime soon and other than importing from Minispares UK I don't know of any other sources that can do them for under $600 a set?

A008's cost me $125 each plus $40 freight from Adelaide and then I think about $10 each at Bob Jane for fitting plus $75 for a wheel alignment.
The cost from the UK would have been about $500+ delivered, hence why I went for the aussie option.
