If uncracked I'd say $150 for a bare 12G940, or $200-250 with valves, springs, caps & collets.

If doing it up properly for unleaded I would bin the valves, springs & guides anyway, but the 1275 caps & collets are worth a bit to buy new.

Valve springs weaken with age, also many folks that do a head up then fit them to a motor with high lift cams or rockers. If they leave the stock springs on it they get coilbound by the extra lift, and are usually too light anyway.
New C-AEA526 springs are cheap these days and are good for around 7500-8000rpm and .495" lift, without coil bind.
