Hi.

I have previously used paper gaskets and silicone for the thermostat housing etc but need it back on the road today.

The silicone works ok and I haven't had much luck with paper/goo or the precoated ones.

Has anyone used the aviation form a gasket or thin copper sheet.

The mating surface are pretty good with a little bit of pitt at the edges.
