Hi, does anyone know whether Castrol HTB grease has a "use by" date???

I have an old container (cardboard/tin lid) that is almost full. However, the grease "looks" a little more burnt brown than I remember it used to. Still feels quite gooey/greasy...

?????

Cheers, Ian

HTB is a clay base grease, it does get harder with age.
If still gooey it should be OK, but it's not dear to buy a tub if you are concerned about it.
