I kept breaking so-called `Cooper S' rear mounts on the son's Clubbie S. After welding it about 5 times, I decided it was crap Taiwanese? steel and made one out of 3.5mm BHP steel plate. Fixed the problem. :wink:

Yet, I've had one of these S ones on Ha-Ha for 10 years now. And it's done around 75,000 miles in that time.

Why the difference?
Rodchange Clubbies flex the exhaust system more. But Ha-Ha has a remote change, haha... :wink:

I don;t suggest you try that last one. He seems pretty pissed. Justin's dad did all the talking, and pretended to be my dad.

He's got a mate that'll fix my roof for the same 200 bucks. Stevie's gonna go see Marky tomorrow and try and cool things down a bit... We'll see how that goes. :oops:

I'm gonna get the slip joint/collector/whatever you wanna call it fixed next week, probably D&T on Grote street.

in related news, my zaust fell off this week, luckily i have lukey performance zaust coathanger wire to catch it..
so yea.. i need a piece of metal to secure the zaust to the middle zaust bracket.

Freakin rear RC40 "cooper S" mount has like fatigued and broke off. Lucky the RC40 sustained no damage, but fcks me off none the less. Out comes the bank card again.

it depends how it was put on in the first place Wills. if theres any slight hint of stress in the positioning of the exhaust, you know it wont last some exhaust places will heat up your intermediant pipe (with a blow torch) to destress it after its been mounted for $15 to get mine mounted and destressed i say its not that bad

I woiuld say it's due to the Jun BL..and the shock it recieved...Replace the mount's and all will be fixed and forget it

Terrible crap... No more minis Maybe its cos i told him i wanted a new tip on the RC40 and said i'd be back there in a few days... that was about 2 weeks ago. Hehehee Not cool tho. Stuwey... where bouts is it leaking? Does the pipe not seal properly?

Oh yeah... and i've had 1. original exhaust (sounded okay) 2. new exhaust with the 1100 (lukey pooper shooter) 3. JUN BL (yeah, we all know bout them now) 4. RC40. SO four exhausts. And i havent given up on the RC40 yet. I wish for the exit tip/pipe to be a little different, but maybe marky wont be doing it now. Actually... maybe i'll just say he dented the front and make him give me 200 bux, too.

my sister got her exhaust from Exhaust Tech, hasnt fallen off yet haha.. its only a bloody Ricer Lancer tho im going to put my exhaust on myself because i trust myself. none of this ET carry on...!

Well i've done a quick fix on it with some carefully sculptured thick ass wire. Should hold until i can be arsed to get it fixed. ALso, the middle mount has broken too.. must have been under stress or something. I think it actually broke when i was flexing around a roundabout at 60kays.

I just wanna get some jun pipe for the end of the rc40 muffler to replace the stocko bit thats on it.

Yes, but all the tips that he makes are just 3-inch stainless pipe, with a rolled tip, then TIG welded on. Any decent exhaust shop can do that sorta stuff. D&T can even make titanium exhasts. Very tricky indeed. Makes your whole exhaust about 2kgs. Abut $3000, though, which is a little hard to swallow. I'm definately going there to get mine patched.

Thats what i've got, cept mines a hefty, meaty piece of wire holding up the back mount. Yea the middle mount is snapped too... damn exhausts.
