I am wondering what cams are suitable for a 1310 & 1380 with mild head work and running 1.75 HIF. I am sure there are some better cams out now. I currently have a 30/70 cam in my 1380. |

Ok I have been looking at the swift tune sw7 for a 1330 and the sw10 for my 1380. Anyone had any experience with these cams and what sort of difference will I get over the Ivan Tighe reground 30/70 that I have now. |

These Swiftune cams have a rep for wearing out fast, they are too pointy on the lobe. More so if you run 1.5 rockers with them. I had the same problem with a Camtech 619 (VP3) with 1.5s, it did take 45,000 miles to cark it. I now run GR's cams, an RE13 in the 1412 stroker and RE282 (sprint cam) in the 1360. Both with 1.5 rockers. They have a nice big nose radius. After 11,000 miles the 282 cam still has full lift on all lobes. |
