My 3th 4th syncro seem to be over throwing into 4th. On advice I have changed the selectors, because it was pointed out that there was too much play in them. On the strip down found this washer between the single bearing and first motion shaft. DOES IT BELONG THERE??

Thanks

Nope. Never seen one there... it's a ring-in.
Maybe somebody was trying to make up for a worn 3-4 selector fork sometime in the past.

Thanks Kev, can you think of a place for it? Is there a similar washer under the pinion gear??

no washer meant to be there, nor under the pinion gear Steve
