Hi Guys, need to shrink a rubber door seal.. Its a 2 piece seal and the new one is thick and I can not shut the door.. Any ideas?
Heat gun?

Hi Brett,
Have you some information or a link to the seal you are using?
I have not seen a new two piece seal for years.

Look at your door seal material and that's it. Going to hit it with a heat Jun worse case I stuff it, eitherway its unusablevlike it is.

They're like this for the first little while, but they will come good.

I managed to pick up a set of two piece seals (silver pinch strip) a little while back as well. It doesn't get the abuse the original car would have, so they will last a long time yet.
