it's got a K bonnet.

Windows would have been removed for racing. Prolly had perspex in 850 doors.

nah, I reckon that's a pommy Mk2 badge like one Kev's car, need a close-up though. It isn't an aussie bonnet, because they can't mount the top rail for that grille surround - they have a flat piece spot welded to the underside of the bonnet lip - I guess it could have been made up, but the description says it's from NZ, so would be a pommy car

It has external door hinges, so is a pommy Mk2

It's a UK made shell, check the height of rear side windows- they go right up to the gutter.
Simon, isn't a K front badge the same as UK Morris Mk2 one?? There was a thread a week or 2 back..

Not so, My mini K bodyshell has this Mk2 Uk grille - the PO just screwed it in I think.

Makka, not Mk 3, it's a Mk 2. They were made in 68-69 and had external door hinges, the new grill shape and the larger rectangular tail lights. The Mk 3 began 69-70 and were the the first pommie cars with wind up windows and internal door hinges. Mk 2's are like rocking horse sh1t here now.
