Hi there am about to rebuild a pair of 7.5” disc brake setup. I have a new discs and pads and callipers, drive flanges, screws and split pins. I bought the 12” to 10” brake kit that gave me these parts new,

I have second-hand front uprights which I need to rebuild, I know I need

New Disc CV joints
CV nut and Washer
All Ball joints
Timken taper roller bearings
Rear wheel cylinders cooper S bore size
Grease nipples

Is there anything else i need to add to my list, could some please tell me the part number of the bearings that are used in the front hubs?

Also the car is STD drum brake at the moment. Do I need the spacer rear drums or can i leave the STD drum on.

I’ve add some photos of what I’ve got at the moment.

Front hub bearing kit (genuine Timkens) is LM67049A assembly. No seals or grease. My kits also have `9F2B8' on 2 boxes, and `9O2B8' on the 3rd one. (these could be batch numbers).

The generic front hub tapered roller bearing kit is GHK1140.
If they are in a Unipart box you may get Timkens, but most I've seen sold here are blue box noname ones.

You can keep your flat rear drums, but the rear track will look a bit narrow...

where do you get the seals from.

thats why some minis look strange at the rear, i always thought it was my eyes

You get the seals where you buy the bearings. Bearing shops have a catalog listing, the inner & outer seals are the same on Oz Minis.
Or, you can buy either kit from www.minis.com.au and he carries the seals too.
Bearing shop prices have gone through the roof- (1100%+ markup on landed cost)- unless you have a trade account bearings are much cheaper buying at the Mini suppliers.

I was quoted 2x this price at my local bearing shop for Timkens & NO seals.

You will have to replace the rear wheel cylinders from 3/4" down to 5/8" if you are replacing the front drums with discs.
