Just after ways to lift and lower a freshly painted shell.

It will be completely stripped so need to fit subframes, brake piping, hoses etc... So what are the best ways?

Don't have a post lift but guessing that would be best.... So other ways?

I made a trolley which has four jacks similar style to those on axle stands. Two have sloping tops which fit into the jacking points under the doors, the other two have 10mm diameter pins on top which go into the brackets on the floor at the rear which were used to support the vehicle during manufacture. The front of the trolley is short enough that no interference is there to fit front sub frame, rear is also clear. Trolley is made from 50 x 50 x 1.6mm square tube, used fence posts actually, and fitted with four trolley wheels ex woolies. I could send you some photos if interested, just need your email address.

My back is shot so I can't lift much weight but I just put my shell back onto its subbies by myself. I left the rotisserie pole through the car and lifted the pole up one end at a time with an engine crane (Supercheap).

While it was up, i rotated the rotisserie stand part out of the way and just dropped it down onto the subby, which was sitting on 4 stands.

Too easy.
