These run on 12 volts or do they need a stabilizer ??? |

Post subject: | Voltage stabilizer for Gauges. |
Rover instruments do not have a voltage regulator "Externally" like the earlier ones . But looking at the printed Circuits there is a link between the Fuel and Temp Gauges which gives me the impression that there might be a Voltage stabilizer built in to the fuel Gauge like most modern cars. I could be wrong. If you have a cluster out of it's place and you can access the point with a Volt meter you can test what voltage you get at this link with the ignition turned on. If it is less than 12 Volts then there is a built in stabilizer internally. |

they have the stabiliser build in so you can connect them right to your 12V source |

What could be wrong if it works but is reading incorrectly, reads full when full but empty when there is still half a tank. |

don't know it this helps with your minis. |
