Re-doing the roof lining in the Mini (1972) and want to check I have the bows in the correct position. (They are not the original ones from the car and have been in and out a few times).
I have 4 different types and they came out in the following order from front to rear:
1 “flatter” one that was at the front.
Then 3 the same.
Then 1 a little shorter.
And then the shortest at the rear.
Looks OK to me but can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Hi Bill,
I will check the colours,
but
I have 6, not 5.
Could it be 2, 3 & 4 green, then it would line up with my lengths.

i think the colours above are for pre 70's

what about this one it says for mini saloon range from front to rear, 1 red , 234 white , 5 blue , 6 yellow

Edit
These colour codes are from the blue leyland australia manual

Cheers bill

Hi Bill,
Those numbers line up with mine, but not the colours.
From front to rear I had red, yellow, green, yellow, orange, no colour.
But mine may not be a set due to the car history.
The green one looks the same as the yellow ones.
Do any have an orange one?
Which manual do you have?
Dave

I think those colours refer to the English cars.
It will be interesting to see what colour yours are.
But it looks like I need to get a proper set for mine.

Those colours are out of the leyland australia manual , strangely i cant find a mention of the colours in the other 3 , the haynes restoration manual only gives fitting instructions.
