Hi gents, does anyone know the name of the colour of the ex Ed Ordynski cooper shown on page 10 of the current edition of The BMC Experience.
Its been on the tip of my tounge for a couple of days .

If this is the car you are referring to, then I do believe the colour is Dusk Blue?

Cadet Blue is a '69 colour - too late for a Cooper.
The only blues I remember for Coopers (notS) were Dusk Blue, Shadow Blue and Platinum.

Dusk Blue (mixed using the original Dulux codes and colour matched to original colour on rear parcel shelf)

It's probably worth noting that Ed himself says his former Cooper was definitely Dusk Blue. I trust absolutely what he says. :)

I was lead to believe from reading the colour charts on here that Dusk blue was only used in '64. Correct??

Don't take the color chart dates as gospel, they didn't exactly throw the paint out on Dec 31 each year. :wink:
