Hi all,
Looking to get some tips on a basic collection of tools required for a home mini restoration job... e.g.

Best welder to get? Arc, oxy, mig gasless, mig with gas, gig etc

Grinders, cutters, hammers etc etc

Was hoping you guys that have done it before will be able to identify those tools that were the most useful in your resto.

Hopefully it can become a resource for all.

Many thanks,

Zulu

For body work, i find

* 4 1/2 angle grinder
* Gas Mig (I used to use gasless and wont go back to it once i started using gas, its great). But i suggest get a good Mig (not one of this migs with hi and low and that is all you get from repco).
* Drill to cut out the spot welds during panel replacement
