Hey guys,
Just looking for pictures of minis with car covers on and where abouts you got them and a price..
I bought one a while back because it was cheap and the smallest I could find.
Turns out the smallest I could find is way to big and when I push my mini into the corner of the shed it gets caught up on everything from dragging on the ground..
Had it wrapped around my drive shaft the other week..
So if anyone has had a custom one made or knows of a ready made one for sale it would be good to see fitment and prices etc..
My mini lives in a car port with walls apart from the front so only the odd leaf blows onto the cover..
Any help is appreciated.

Cheers, Rhys

I have 4 covers from these guys http://www.carcovers.com.au/ Best I have seen and fit perfect. Cant recall but think they were about $300.

I think you get what you pay for in a car cover though.

There has been plenty of discussion on this before , apparently these covers are very good , do a search to see what others say .

I have two covers that I mainly use. One for normal storage indoors, and the other for outdoors (which is mainly trips away).

Got them both from a crowd in the UK that specialise in car covers and particularly bespoke or custom covers.

This is the indoor cover

... and here is the outdoor weatherproof one

Both covers are stretchy and both work well. I am especially impressed that the outdoor cover doesn't sweat at all, and so avoids that common downfall of so many covers.

I should add that whilst you will see an image of my car on the linked page for this company, I have no connection whatsoever with them.

Here is the linky thing

Cheers

Davo

PS For those in Melbourne, if you want to come by sometime and try them out on your Mini, just drop me a PM.

DK

I think the one Davo's referring to http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/store/product.php?productid=16317&cat=495&page=1
and the one Bubba's referring to http://minispares.com/product/Classic/Accessories/CCC104.aspx?01&ReturnUrl=/search/classic/car

are they one and the same, with just a different logo on the bag? same price tag at least..

Dads is a little different to the black one Davo has posted, so i thinm they are different. Possible the saem company make them. But Dads is definitely different. Dads is a mutilayer cover

My wife also made mine out of calico, similar to this. There is a photo of it in the drive on ramps thread from a few years back. I will see if I can still find it and remember how to post pics. Also just for indoors use, but worked a treat.

Just to clarify, the blue indoor only cover in my pics is the "Softech Bespoke Indoor Cover" and the black outdoor and indoor cover is by the same company however made of a material they refer to as Guanto

It's not listed on the original page for Mini's I linked yesterday (dunno why?) however they will make them upon request.

Heres a link to more information on those breathable outdoor covers as per the black one I have.

They cost a fair bit (they seem to have gone up a lot since I bought mine a couple of years back), however they really are the schizz!

Cheers

Dave

Sorry, my mistake. Missed the post.
I was bit thrown by spelling in your next post... thought it might have been one of hose auto correct things.
