Post subject: | Leyland Clubby S market value? |
Hi there all! Just wondering what the current market value on a Leyland Clubman S in near concourse condition is worth? Engine bay isn't much to look at, but a little polishing here and there would see it looking quite respectable. No rust... I have decided to venture forth and begin a new business, and so the funding needs to come from somewhere! Originally bought it to do the 4efte conversion, but time and money has not allowed... Quite unfortunate, really.. Dan. |

Original/modified? engine Size? brakes? Yr model? extras? Photos? All Original, down to the Wheels... (It's had a respray sometime in its life, previous owner said it was done about 8 years ago.) Engine size is 998CC, Still extremely healthy. No smoke, everything is still tight. 1978? Extras? Err.... cheap 6 inch speakers in the rear, and a cheapo head unit. Photos, are coming. I'm in the process of giving it one of my extensive details inc 4 stage Heavy Cut/Medium Cut/Polish/Seal. So many tight areas to access/polish on the exterior of these things..! (Damn seam welds..!!) |

Have a look at the for sale section, carsales, trading post, just cars, etc. to get an idea of what similar cars sell for, this will give you a good indication of what people will pay as well, if you see an ad that is there for ages... |

Here I have a picture of the beginning 4 hours of a 50+ hour paint restoration. Paint isn't in bad condition or anything, it's just suffering from oxidation. I'm bringing it back to life. But basically, this picture indicates the condition of the entire car; It's a good looking little car!!! (Front left quarter and left side of bonnet is completed (Still awaiting sealant; leaving it to cure for 2-3 days before sealing off with hard-set nuba)). ![]() |
