Are door seals all the same or are some thicker than others..

reason i ask is that i have just fitted some sliding doors onto the cooper and the old seals that were on with the windy ups seem.... well too big?!?!

It that right or am i doing something wrong...

Four types.

Sliding window
Wind up window (aussie)
Wind up window (UK)
Wind up Window (UK Oct 1996 onwards)

All essentially the same, but different.

UK Mk1s (for sliding windows) are much thinner than the aussie windup ones.

I know this because I imported a set of them, and had 3mm of daylight with the aussie windup doors on.
