USD $425. + freight.

Add $300? (guess) for line boring to the block here.

Steel Cap set $450
Line bore $500?

EDIT: Yeah look it may be worth something to someone but honestly, without the MK1 head, Mk1 EN40B crank and a host of other bits, we are talking a BOATLOAD of rare parts missing (proper tappet cover with the right breather for one)....

Back in 1966 I made a new steel centre cap for my 1220 out of axle steel.
It took ages but cost me nothing (I was a railways apprentice).
I didn't line bore it- I set it up in my lathe with another cap, bored it to 001" undersized, then hand scraped it true.
Not suggesting anybody would bother doing this now, just sayin'.

If this was the last thing needed for a matching number restoration, I'm sure its price would be worth it

Even for those that have a set of S main caps (off a destroyed block), $750.00 for a block sans caps, I want to know what drugs he is taking so I can take them too. They must be goood. :D

If it is indeed the matching number then it would be cheap as chips!! (I'd also go buy the lotto too if this were the case)
