UK Mk1s (for sliding windows) are much thinner than the aussie windup ones.
I know this because I imported a set of them, and had 3mm of daylight with the aussie windup doors on.

Are door seals all the same or are some thicker than others.. reason i ask is that i have just fitted some sliding doors onto the cooper and the old seals that were on with the windy ups seem.... well too big?!?! It that right or am i doing something wrong... |

Sorry but I binned them 20 years ago. Back then they took 10 weeks to get here. Because some dill at Minisport UK put them on a BOAT!!!
