22G1128 pretty sure didn't come out in a Mini K/early Clubman with a 3.44 diff ;)

Yeah, some early cars had a 3.76 diff, but most are 3.44.

I beg to differ, my Mini K parts book lists 3.765 and 3.647 ratios, NOT 3.44.
The only 22G1128 boxes I've found to have a 3.44 in stock were Mk2 S and GT.
My car has a box I took out of a GT, its diff ratio was 3.44 until I changed it.

The UK 1275GT (with way less power than ours) had a 3.647, I'm not aware the Oz GT ever did.

re 22G1128 boxes-
IMO- "If the box has rubber U/Js and is remote shift it is either off a Mini K or an early 1098 Clubby.
If it has rubber U/Js and a puddin'stirrer shift, it is out of a van, or a Moke.
If it has Hardy Spicer steel U/Js and the cluster gear has 22G1040 stamped on it, it's a Cooper S or Clubby GT".

However, 40 years on as it is, things get swapped about, anything is possible.

But as The Doc says This may have been changed over the Years

The 4.13 and 4.26 were used here in bigwheel Mokes and some Morris 1100s.
I have a good 4.26 CW/P for sale if you are interested...

[edit] You can fit this ratio to any box.
