I need to rebuild a pair of sliding window doors.
Has anyone fitted these Sliding window catch runners from Mini Sport AU?
Would like to know how well they fit before I commit to them...
please let me know what you found.....

^ I'm with Kirby.

Something makes me think it was michaelb that had some words to say about them.

cush started a thread recently-ish too, if my memory serves correctly.

I fitted them many years ago to my 850 and they fit ok, they were a little long and touched the door frame at both ends, after a little filing them down they fit fine.

If they're the same stainless steel reproductions ones that I have used, they are pretty ordinary. Razor sharp edges which slice your fingers as you try to open or shut the glass (sort by deburring all the edges before you fit). The worst is the profile of the locking strip itself , doesn't match the shape of the locking catches and they tend to bind as a result, making opening and closing difficult (had to reshape the locking catches from memory)

Won't bother with them again. Will find some decent SH runners and have them rechromed.
