We fitted some last week with the same great big welds on the inside.
One fitted with the judicious use of a BFH, the other got a quick dressing of the weld with an angle grinder.
There is no need for that much weld on a bracket that thin!

Hi I have just ordered rear progressive bump stops for the hydro radius arms,. The new brackets are slighty different to the original and therefore do not fit correctly. The underside of the bracket has a large weld instead of a small locating pin etc... Is it best to cut of the knob that holds the rubber and weld to the old bracket?.... or purchase the bump stops that have the large cone shaped rubber with a tear drop bracket? The problem i see with the second option is that the bracket is then a totally different shape Any help or suggestions would be appreciated I cant seem to upload a picture to help you understand what i mean |

They fit OK, I have mounted a few sets, on hydro and on dry arms. Make sure you put them on the right side, as if not, the rubber is in the wrong position. I seem to recall I countersunk the holes and used the original screws (it was a while ago). Sorry I have no pics. |

Thanks dr... The main drama seems to be the underside of the new one.. There is a dirty big weld instead of a neat locating pin |

Grind it flat so it fits. The ones I have are 10 years old, maybe they made them properly (and in UK) back then. |
