Folks,
Does anyone know why minis use both a cup and a flat washer next to each other at the tie bar end?

See:
http://www.minisport.com.au/prod1039.htm

Is it really important to have that pair in there as illustrated?

Thanks.
Matt

Cup washer is needed to hold the rubber but is only thin crap, it will bend without the thicker flat one against it.

Interesting that they didn't opt for a thick cup washer, and no flat washer!
The bushes I just installed seem to spill out the sides of the cup washers - normal, or do I need bigger cup washers?
