yes do not drive your mini like this
the problem can be related to a few things
sometimes the disc will hit the steering arm before the bearings are tight (big center nut)
sometimes the bearing spacer & bearings are not quite set-up properly (would need to see it apart myself to know for sure what you`ve done)
sometimes the 4x screws that hold the disc to the drive flange are too long & hit the hub before the bearings are tight
etc etc etc
i`d suggest you have someone experienced come around & rip them back off for an inspection
