Hi
Do you think I need a new choke cable? I have to pull the cable as far as I possibly can to get any action at the carb end. The cable is fully adjusted so there is no slack in its length. The outer covering is seated properly at either end. Seems weird why It still doesn't activate until at full stretch.

I usually set them up so that the clutch linkage is partly engaged when the knob is all the way in - basically push the knob in, undo the cable from the linkage, take up the slack on the spring to the point where the fast idle is nearly touching the throttle, then tighten do up the linkage
